The ChemQuest Group, a global consulting firm focused on tailored business strategy and optimization, technology acceleration, market intelligence, and M&A advisory services for the specialty materials industry, is pleased to announce that three new directors have joined the firm to support ongoing growth: Geoffrey Webster, Ph.D.; Philip Williams; and Paul Bryant.

Geoffrey Webster, Ph.D., is an accomplished research and development leader, combining his chemical and engineering expertise to drive technological innovation, product development, and commercialization initiatives. Holder of numerous patents, Webster’s distinguished career includes technical leadership roles with companies such as PPG Industries and Eastman Chemical Co.

“With over 35 years in the coatings industry, I’ve had the privilege of leading innovation, new material and product development, and business platform launches,” Webster said. “I worked closely with the ChemQuest team in a previous role to develop novel resins for powder coatings, and I was impressed with the team’s core knowledge and business savvy. I’m excited to now be part of a group that brings such depth, clarity, and impact to clients navigating technology development, market expansion, and transformative growth.”

Located in West Yorkshire, UK, Philip Williams has honed deep expertise in general management and operational excellence, including the development and implementation of world-class standards in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, and change management. He has managed and controlled all aspects of operational performance, making improvements in supply chain management, adopting lean manufacturing techniques, and reducing costs through streamlined operating procedures. Williams most recently served as a senior practitioner with Performance Solutions by Milliken.

Paul Bryant has been actively involved in the coatings industry for nearly 60 years, working in sales and leadership roles with companies such as Sherwin-Williams Co. and PPG Industries. An engaging team player and leader able to inspire personnel to perform their best, Bryant routinely assists companies in exceeding sales goals and driving operational efficiencies, as well as focusing on training and safety initiatives.

“Having been involved in the chemical coatings industry for so long, I envisioned that my experience could best be utilized with a company like ChemQuest in this next phase of my career,” Bryant said. “I look forward to working with this very talented team to further our clients’ targets and goals.”
