Arkema Achieves Global ISCC+ Certification for Powder Resins
Arkema announced its polyester powder coating resins site in North Kansas City, Missouri, has earned ISCC PLUS certification. With this milestone, all of Arkema’s polyester powder resin facilities worldwide are certified in line with its mass balance roadmap. Other certified sites include Saint Celoni, Spain, and Navi Mumbai, India.
The achievement supports customers advancing sustainable coatings for markets such as consumer products, electronics, automotive, architectural metal finishes, e-mobility and metal furniture.
“These certifications reflect Arkema’s long-term commitment to reducing the product carbon footprint in coatings and related industries,” said Linda Armitage, Business Manager for Powder Coating Resins.
The certifications are part of a broader strategy covering a complete range of bio-attributed specialty resins and additives, including high solids, waterborne, UV-LED-EB and polyester powder materials.
