Charles Ross & Son Company introduced the DPM-150 Double Planetary Mixer for high-volume production in hazardous locations. Designed for mixing high-viscosity materials up to 6 million centipoise, the unit processes batches ranging from 20 to 150 gallons. The mixer’s stainless steel wetted parts are polished to a 220-grit finish and feature vacuum mixing capability up to 29.5"Hg. Two high-viscosity stirrer blades with bottom crossbar operate with planetary motion driven by a 40 HP motor, offering variable speed control from 6–25 rpm. Built for Class I, Division 1 and Class II, Division 1 environments, the system includes mechanical seals, torque limiter protection and interchangeable mix cans for flexible operation.
