High-Solids Acrylic Polymer Enhances Durability in Architectural Coatings
Engineered Polymer Solutions (EPS) introduced EPS® 2736, a high-solids, all-acrylic polymer formulated to enhance the performance of exterior architectural coatings. Designed for DIY and professional use across flat to satin finishes, EPS 2736 provides durability with resistance to dirt pickup, UV exposure and color fading. The polymer’s 58% solids content offers excellent scrub and grain crack resistance, even on dimensionally unstable substrates. Made without fluorosurfactants, it supports near-zero VOC formulations when used with EPS® 9147 low VOC coalescent. EPS 2736 is well suited for both interior and exterior applications requiring long-term mechanical strength and environmental durability.
