PPG announced Secret Safari (PPG1110-4) as its 2026 Color of the Year. The yellow-green shade is part of PPG’s Parallels theme, which includes three palettes: Authentic, Visionary and Expressive.

PPG said the selection came from its global color team after research across regions and industries, including trends in architecture, design, consumer behavior and material innovation. The company noted that Secret Safari will influence interior design and extend to consumer goods, industrial coatings and automotive finishes.

PPG described Authentic as earthy tones with natural textures, Visionary as balanced contrasts with bold accents, and Expressive as vibrant hues with dynamic combinations. The company said Secret Safari complements all three, supporting color layering and nature-forward aesthetics in hospitality and residential spaces. PPG added that the shade’s adaptability and botanical look suit products that emphasize durability and understated elegance.
