10X Engineered Materials announced that its EpiX MP superoxalloy blasting media was tested and approved by Cerakote® for surface preparation in ceramic coating applications. Cerakote reported a very clean blast profile with minimal media embedment across ferrous and nonferrous metals, supporting adhesion and finish quality. EpiX MP is part of 10X’s patented abrasive line made from recycled mineral wool byproducts and is classified IARC Group 3.
