Bodo Möller Chemie Makes New Acquisition

Bodo Möller Chemie Group is expanding its presence in Mexico with the acquisition of Bridge Chemical Company. Based in Chihuahua, Bridge Chemical Company has a nationwide sales and service network and long-standing experience in technical sales of specialty chemicals. The merger adds capacity for sales and technical support in Mexico’s core industrial regions.
After Bodo Möller Chemie’s acquisition of a majority stake, Bridge Chemical Company will be integrated into the Group in mid-January 2026. The move continues the company’s international growth strategy with a focus on markets that show strong industrial momentum. Bridge Chemical Company has been a specialty chemicals distributor for three decades and is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9120B to meet quality management and aerospace sector requirements. The company serves clients across the automotive, aerospace, commercial vehicle, electronics, and metalworking industries. Its nationwide presence includes seven sales offices, six warehouse locations, 55 employees, and an in-house laboratory. Key application areas include bonding, sealing, surface treatment, foaming, and release agent technologies. The portfolio includes Henkel products, which align with Bodo Möller Chemie’s solution offerings, as well as products from CPG, Dow, DuPont, KVS, and Medmix.
“Together with BCC, we are combining our strengths to create a powerful platform for our clients across Latin America. We are looking forward to uniting BCC’s established structures and commitment with Bodo Möller Chemie’s global reach and service-oriented mindset to ensure a successful future and strong partnerships in the region,” said Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group. Collaboration will be closely coordinated with Bridge Chemical Company’s founder, family owners, and employees. Francisco Puente, the company’s founder, said, “Our strength lies in the combination between local know-how, many years of client relationships, and a deep understanding of our target markets. A strong partner at our side means new prospects are opening up for sustainable growth.” The company’s technical focus and market knowledge support Bodo Möller Chemie’s solution-oriented approach. “We have been operating in Mexico with our own subsidiary since 2018,” said Andreas Moser, sales director for Bodo Möller Chemie. “With this addition, we are now establishing a significantly broader base. In particular, the proximity to our clients and the technical laboratory unlock new opportunities in a dynamic market.”
This announcement aligns with broader developments in distribution within the paint and coatings industry.
