The patent pending intumescent coating is engineered for extreme environments and supports efficient installation with lower material consumption. Jotachar 1709 XT offers consistent application in shop and site conditions with fast thickness build-up and a 15–20 minute workability window at steel temperatures up to 50 °C. Extensive third-party testing has demonstrated durability adhesion char stability and mechanical integrity. The product was developed through internal testing that included coating more than 1 km steel and manufacturing over 35,000 kg material.
