Evonik announced the expansion of its collaboration with IMCD into the United States market, extending the companies’ distribution partnership for VISIOMER® specialty methacrylates.

The companies previously established a distribution partnership in Brazil and Canada. Under the expanded agreement, IMCD will distribute the full VISIOMER® specialty methacrylates portfolio nationwide in the United States.

The materials support a range of end-use applications including coatings, adhesives and sealants, construction, composites and polymer synthesis.

VISIOMER® specialty methacrylates are used in formulation development across multiple industrial markets, including paint and coatings, where methacrylate monomers contribute to performance properties such as adhesion, durability and chemical resistance.
