WACKER Raises Silicone Product Prices

WACKER will raise prices for its silicone-based products effective April 1, 2026, citing rising costs tied to global supply chain disruptions.
The company said ongoing developments in the Middle East have disrupted energy and raw materials markets, driving increases in oil, natural gas, raw materials and logistics costs. WACKER’s global silicones business has been affected by these conditions.
WACKER said it is working across its global production and logistics network to minimize impacts on customers. However, the company stated that current cost increases, particularly for energy, raw materials and logistics, require price adjustments. Customers will be informed directly.
WACKER’s silicones business includes a portfolio of fluids, emulsions, resins, elastomers, sealants and silanes used across automotive, construction, chemicals, electronics and other sectors. The division accounted for approximately 50% of group sales in 2025.
