WACKER Announces Polymer Price Increase

WACKER Group will raise prices for resins, dispersions and dispersible polymer powders sourced from its production sites in Europe and the United States. The adjustments will be effective June 1, 2026, or as customer contracts allow.
Prices for these products will increase by up to 15%. The company said the pricing measure was necessary because of rising costs for raw materials and logistics. WACKER also cited recent conflict in the Middle East, which it said has led to significant distortions in commodity markets worldwide and increased prices for energy, raw materials and logistics.
WACKER said the price adjustments will enable its Polymers division to continue providing product quality, technological innovation, customer service and technical support while supporting investment for future growth across focus markets.
WACKER’s Polymers division produces binders and polymeric additives based on polyvinyl acetate and vinyl acetate copolymers and terpolymers. Its products include dispersible polymer powders, dispersions, solid resins and solutions used in construction chemicals, paints, surface coatings, adhesives, nonwovens, fiber composites and polymeric materials based on renewable resources.
