Univar Solutions B.V., a subsidiary of Univar Solutions LLC, announced that its Ingredients + Specialties segment expanded its strategic partnership with Dow.

Under the agreement, Univar Solutions will distribute Dow’s silicone additives for plastics and composites throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The companies said the collaboration will expand access to silicone additives designed to improve processing, durability and resource efficiency in plastics and composite applications.

Univar Solutions said the agreement combines Dow’s silicone innovation expertise with its commercial knowledge, product management, sales expertise and technical application support.

The company said its Essen Solution Center plays a central role in advancing innovation across EMEA, collaborating with suppliers to develop application-driven solutions for the CASE, rubber and plastics markets. The agreement includes markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
