WEG announced the inauguration of a new coatings distribution center in Bogotá, Colombia.

The company said the new center strengthens its presence in the Latin American market and supports its ongoing effort to expand its global distribution network. The official inauguration took place May 7.

According to WEG, the Bogotá distribution center will focus on meeting regional demand with greater agility and efficiency. The site will offer high-technology solutions, including industrial coatings, anticorrosive coatings and other products designed for demanding applications.

“Colombia has a strong and continuously growing economic activity, making it a key hub for our expansion strategy in Latin America,” said Adilson Demathe, sales director of WEG Coatings.

WEG said the investment supports its coatings growth strategy and reinforces its effort to build a distribution network with strategic points on all continents.
