PPG Ties Aerospace Innovations to Sales Growth

PPG recently hosted an Aerospace business overview for the analyst community, highlighting innovations in transparencies, coatings and sealants for commercial aviation, military and general aviation customers.
According to the company, the session focused on the Aerospace business’ nearly 100-year history and its role in supporting PPG’s long-term organic sales growth.
PPG highlighted several aerospace technologies during the event, including PPG PRC® Seal Caps, a sealant solution designed to provide productivity and efficiency gains for aircraft manufacturers. The company also highlighted PPG ARE™ 3D-Printed Sealants, a 3D printing technology developed for applications where efficiency, precision and reduced waste are priorities.
The company also featured PPG AEROCRON® Electrocoat Primer, a chrome-free electrocoat primer designed for the aerospace industry.

PPG said key takeaways from the event included the company’s broad range of qualified and specialized aerospace products and services, its focus on technology-advantaged solutions and its strategic investments in innovation and capacity expansion to capture multi-year aerospace industry demand.
PPG, headquartered in Pittsburgh, reported net sales of $15.9 billion in 2025. The company serves customers in construction, consumer products, industrial and transportation markets and aftermarkets.
