PPG Marks 3,000th Installation of MOONWALK® Paint Mixing System

PPG has completed the 3,000th global installation of its PPG MOONWALK® automated paint mixing system at a Wren’s Collision Group facility in Auburn, Ala.
Launched in 2019, the system is used by collision centers in more than 60 countries. PPG said the technology is designed to support paint-mixing accuracy, traceability and productivity throughout the automotive repair process.
The system delivers consistent paint mixing to support color matching, streamlines preparation work and reduces material use. It also connects with the PPG LINQ™ digital ecosystem to support workflows, real-time data and inventory management.
