Consolidated PBDIT declined 1.2% to ₹1,833.30 crore, while the PBDIT margin decreased to 15.4% from 16.1%. Net profit declined 4.6% to ₹1,128.02 crore. The company finished the year with improved momentum: fourth-quarter consolidated revenue increased 6.1% year over year to ₹2,868.03 crore, while net profit increased 27.5% to ₹335.25 crore.
In India, Berger Paints reported 11.8% volume growth in the fourth quarter, supported by decorative coatings, construction chemicals and waterproofing. Protective coatings recorded high-single-digit volume and value growth, while automotive coatings benefited from demand in two- and three-wheelers. Powder coatings also showed sequential and year-over-year recovery.
Berger Paints continued to expand its retail presence in FY2026, reaching approximately 1,900 Berger Exclusive Stores. More than 700 stores were added during the year, while Colorbank tinting-machine installations exceeded 10,000 units.
The company said its FY2027 growth momentum is expected to be led by construction chemicals, waterproofing, wood coatings and new product launches. It also expects protective coatings demand to benefit from government capital-expenditure activity, while continuing to monitor crude-based raw-material costs, currency pressure and competitive intensity.
