Bodo Möller Makes Strategic Aerospace Move in India

Bodo Möller Chemie has opened a new warehouse for aerospace and specialty chemicals in Bengaluru, India. The 930-square-meter facility is certified to AS 9120 aerospace quality standards and can provide temperature-controlled storage down to -25 °C.
Located in Bengaluru’s Peenya Industrial Area, the warehouse will store film adhesives, epoxy resin systems and other temperature-sensitive materials used in aircraft component manufacturing, fuselage production and maintenance, repair and overhaul operations. The company said the facility is designed to support aerospace original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers, including companies serving Boeing and Airbus programs.
“India is rapidly emerging as a strategic hub for aerospace and advanced manufacturing,” CEO Frank Haug said. He added that the investment reflects the company’s confidence in the Indian market and its commitment to providing local infrastructure, technical expertise and supply-chain support.
The company said the Bengaluru operation is intended to shorten lead times and improve regional material availability as India’s aerospace, defense and aircraft maintenance industries continue to expand.
