MIPA SE’s Smart Mixing concept connects color measurement, intelligent software, artificial intelligence and automated mixing in a single digital workflow. Measurements can be taken directly on a vehicle and transferred through the cloud to a mobile device or workstation for formula selection and mixing.

The fully automatic Mipa CR 4 and CR 6 systems use volumetric dosing and can prepare quantities as small as 0.01 g. For industrial coatings, the company pairs the X-Rite MA 5C color measurement device with its Pro Mix® Industry and Pro Mix® Aqua systems. MIPA also introduced Pro Mix® Powder Pigments Decorative Metal for sprayable coatings containing zinc, brass, bronze, copper, iron or graphite.
