ProSys Fill offers the VCF Chub Filler, a servo-driven vertical system for packaging high-viscosity products including adhesives, sealants, mastics, pastes and lubricants. The machine operates at speeds up to 40 chubs per minute and supports 5- to 32-ounce packages.
An integrated programmable logic controller coordinates the electrical components and clipping head, while servo-driven dosing is designed to improve repeatability and reduce product giveaway. A discharge chute with a replaceable Teflon liner supports faster recovery after leaks or burst packages. Magnetic proximity sensors allow adjustment of cutting and clipping positions for different products and films.
The compact unit provides front access for maintenance, film threading and roll changes and can connect with upstream and downstream equipment.
The system’s stated material range includes adhesives and sealants, making fill accuracy, material giveaway and changeover time directly relevant to formulated-product packaging operations.
