ReAgent Invests $6 Million in First U.S. Site

ReAgent launched ReAgent USA in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, marking its first manufacturing site outside the United Kingdom. The company is investing $6 million in the facility, which is projected to create 30 jobs in Forsyth County.
The site offers chemical blending for high- and low-viscosity formulations across multiple batch sizes, along with custom labeling and packaging. Its water-production plant supports deionized water, demineralized water, distilled water, synthetic seawater and several types of ASTM-grade water.
CEO Rich Hudson said North Carolina’s manufacturing infrastructure and labor market influenced the site selection. Founded in 1977, ReAgent specializes in custom chemical manufacturing, packaging and distribution for markets including industrial manufacturing and laboratory research. The expansion follows the company’s receipt of a 2025 King’s Award for Enterprise.
The facility adds U.S. capacity for high- and low-viscosity chemical blending and packaging, services relevant to formulated-product manufacturers managing batch size, labeling and supply-chain requirements.
