Air-Driven Dispersers Mix One-Gallon Batches at Variable Speeds

INDCO introduced HSD-series benchtop air dispersers for mixing batches of up to 1 gallon. The company positions the air-driven design for handling solvents and other flammable materials where reducing ignition risk is a concern.
The HSD05 and HSD06 models use a 0.5-horsepower Gast air motor that provides maximum agitation when supplied with 100 psi at 70 cfm. A needle valve adjusts operating speed from 500 to 5,000 rpm.
Each package includes a 1-inch-by-12-inch stainless steel shaft, 2-inch Design A disperser blade, two support clamps and a 30-inch mixing stand. The stand accommodates containers up to 15 inches tall.
The air-driven design addresses a specific safety consideration in laboratory and small-batch coatings work involving solvents or other flammable materials.
