PPG has launched its Quickline™ waterborne refinish system for collision repair shops in the United States and Canada, expanding its automotive refinish portfolio with a complete system designed to help shops improve productivity while maintaining high-quality color matching and finish performance.
The Quickline system includes waterborne basecoats, undercoats, clearcoats, toners and ancillary products that are designed to work together as an integrated refinishing platform. PPG said the system is intended to provide reliable application across a variety of shop environments while supporting consistent repairs and efficient workflows.
According to the company, the system combines digital color management tools with fast flash characteristics, efficient clearcoat curing and straightforward blending capabilities to help technicians shorten repair cycles without sacrificing appearance. The waterborne basecoat technology also supports lower volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions compared with traditional solventborne basecoat systems.
PPG said the launch reflects continued investment in collision repair technologies that help shops address increasing demands for productivity, color accuracy and environmental compliance.
