Marine Coating Portfolio Simplifies Onboard Maintenance

PPG has launched the PPG ONE RANGE™ portfolio of five one-component marine coatings designed to simplify onboard fleet maintenance.
Introduced at SMM 2026 in Hamburg, Germany, the portfolio provides ready-to-use coating solutions intended to reduce preparation, mixing, storage and handling requirements for crews conducting maintenance aboard vessels.
The range includes waterborne, alkyd and polyurethane technologies for interior and exterior maintenance applications. According to PPG, products in the portfolio incorporate technologies that support low-VOC compliance and low flame-spread certification.
PPG is also previewing the PPG POWERPACK™ application tool at SMM. The portable, battery-powered system is being developed for use with the One Range portfolio and allows crews to switch between roller and brush application using a single unit. PPG said the approach is intended to reduce equipment changes and simplify coating repairs aboard vessels.
PPG’s product information indicates that the PowerPack is planned for availability in 2027.
The One Range portfolio and PowerPack will be showcased Sept. 1-4 at SMM Hamburg.
