GEW Expands West African Distribution With Exact Solutions
GEW has appointed Exact Solutions to manage its sheetfed, label and narrow-web business across Nigeria and Ghana.
Exact Solutions is an engineering-based company headed by founder and CEO George Ugwu and specializes in sales and support of printing machinery. The company represents brands including Koenig & Bauer, Screen, Kolbus and Meccanotecnica.
The distributor’s engineering team supports equipment installations for commercial printers, publishers and packaging converters across West Africa. GEW said the appointment is intended to improve regional access to its UV curing technologies as well as local technical and after-sales support.
“This appointment will be a major step forward for GEW in West Africa, and will greatly enhance support and after-sales service for our customers in the region,” said David Lyus, international sales manager at GEW. “With Exact Solutions’ long industry experience, strong technical capabilities and laser focus on customer service, users of GEW’s industry-leading LED and UV curing equipment now have the local support to match. We are excited to join forces with Exact Solutions, and to begin developing this market further.”
Ugwu said the partnership combines GEW’s UV curing technology with Exact Solutions’ engineering support for printing and packaging customers.

GEW designs and manufactures arc and UV LED curing systems for printing, coating and converting applications.
