Boero Yacht Coatings and Alliance Marine are ending their partnership in France effective September 2026, according to a joint statement carried by marine-industry publications.
The companies said the decision was mutual and reflects the different strategic directions each plans to pursue. Both also reaffirmed their long-term commitment to the French market.
Boero and Alliance Marine said they intend to maintain service for customers and partners during the transition. Additional information about the next phase of the arrangement is expected in the coming weeks.
The partnership was established in 2024 as part of Boero’s effort to strengthen distribution of its yacht coatings in France. Alliance Marine supported the brand through its French network, including VDM-Reya, HDS Peinture and SOGERIC.
Boero has not announced a replacement distribution partner. BoatIndustry reported that the coatings manufacturer will continue direct distribution while details of its future French sales, logistics and technical-support structure are determined.

France is an important European marine and yacht market, making changes in the distribution and availability of marine coatings relevant to manufacturers, distributors and applicators. The next development to watch will be how Boero structures sales and technical support in France following the separation.
