Lower-Power UV LED Lamps Add Flexibility to Industrial Curing

Excelitas has launched the Phoseon VeriCure Lite™ Series, expanding its VeriCure UV LED curing platform with a lower-power option for wide-format printing, industrial coatings, wood processing, metal coating, flooring and other manufacturing applications.
The series provides approximately half the UV output of the standard VeriCure model while retaining the same mechanical platform, control capabilities and integration features. Standard emitting-window lengths range from 750 to 1,350 mm, with 365, 395 and 405 nm wavelengths available. Excelitas reports irradiance uniformity better than ±10% across the curing area.
The system also offers instant on/off operation, adjustable output, segmented control and optional protective secondary glass. Excelitas says energy consumption can be up to 60% lower than conventional mercury-vapor UV curing. The series is IP66 rated and will be shown at Loupe America 2026, booth 6305.
