Linear UV Emitters Target Automated High-Speed Coating Lines

Dymax has introduced BlueWave FX-725 and FX-1525 high-intensity LED line-curing systems for automated bonding, printing and coating applications.
The FX-725 provides a 25 × 75 mm curing area, while the FX-1525 covers 25 × 150 mm. Both are designed around a 25 mm working distance.
Three wavelength options are available: 365, 385 and 405 nm. Maximum irradiance is 2.4 W/cm² at 365 nm and 4.2 W/cm² at 385 and 405 nm.
The emitter housings can be stacked end to end to create longer curing arrays or combine wavelengths. The systems can also mount directly to the company’s UVCS V3.0 conveyor.
A touchscreen controller can store up to 16 curing programs, and a two-channel version can operate two emitters.
