EMCO to Acquire Pride Chemical Solutions
EMCO Chemical Distributors has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets and operations of Pride Chemical Solutions, expanding its presence in the Northeast U.S. chemical distribution market.
Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Holtsville, New York, Pride Chemical Solutions employs more than 80 people and operates two distribution and packaging facilities. The company offers more than 3,000 SKUs and serves more than 1,500 active customers, supported by its own delivery fleet.
EMCO said the transaction will combine Pride's regional customer and supplier relationships with its broader distribution infrastructure and capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions.
Chemical-distributor consolidation can directly affect coatings manufacturers through supplier representation, regional inventory, logistics and technical support. Pride's established Northeast footprint gives this transaction more relevance than a routine corporate acquisition.
