Interpon D Futura Collection Wins 2026 Best of Products Award
AkzoNobel Powder Coatings' Interpon D Futura 2026–2029 Collection has won the Finishes + Surfaces – Paint & Coating category in The Architect's Newspaper's 2026 Best of Products Awards.
The superdurable Interpon D2525 Futura collection is organized around two palettes: High Serenity, with nature-inspired hues including warm stone, metals and browns; and Bold Adventure, featuring earthy reds, blues and sparkling finishes.
The collection includes 50 superdurable bonded metallic powder coatings compliant with AAMA 2604 and carries warranties of up to 20 years. Environmental Product Declarations are available for relevant products. In Europe and North America, 15 Low-E colors are designed to support lower curing temperatures or faster line speeds, and the range also incorporates bio-attributed raw materials.
AkzoNobel said the recognition reflects the collection's combination of architectural design, durability and sustainability.
The award highlights how architectural powder coatings are being positioned around both design freedom and manufacturing considerations such as durability, energy use and lower-carbon raw-material choices.
