Waterborne Stain Base Removes the Wiping Step From Wood Finishing
Gemini Industries Inc. introduced a Waterborne Spray No-Wipe Stain Base for its EVO ColorTools system. The clear base is designed for manual or automated application in production wood-finishing operations where throughput, consistency and color control are priorities.
"With this new stain, we’re giving customers a third option within the line. Like other EVO ColorTools bases, it is specifically designed for production efficiency. It’s a high-performance waterborne spray stain that doesn’t require wiping, so finishers can spray, let it dry, and move on to the next step. For shops focused on throughput, consistency, and reducing labor, it’s a really exciting addition to the line," said Kevin Laughlin, vice president of sales.
Recommended applications include kitchen cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork, store fixtures and other interior wood substrates that require repeatable finishes.
The base is available through authorized Gemini distributors. The broader EVO water-based wood-coatings line includes primers, sealers, clear and pigmented topcoats, and tint bases.
