In addition to Ripol's Italian operations, the transaction includes affiliated businesses in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Switzerland.

The acquisition adds to Protech's existing European manufacturing and distribution presence in Belgium, the Czech Republic and Poland.

Protech said the transaction strengthens its regional production capabilities and supports additional growth opportunities in the European powder coatings market.

Expanding European Manufacturing

Ripol was founded 25 years ago by the Di Segni family and has established a presence in the European powder coatings industry through its technical expertise, product quality and customer relationships.

The transaction gives Protech an established powder coatings manufacturing operation near Milan while extending its commercial and distribution reach across several European countries.

Protech did not disclose the purchase price or additional financial terms.

The company also did not announce immediate changes to Ripol's manufacturing operations or workforce.

Continuing Ripol's Operations

Alberto Di Segni of Ripol said the acquisition would support the company's continued development.
