The Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry (API), Arlington, Va., has issued a call for entries for the 2007 Polyurethane "Innovation Award" nominations and also has changed this year's award program's three categories: Polyurethane Chemicals, Processing Equipment and Finished Product. Finalists will be selected and winners will be announced at the API Polyurethanes 2007 Technical Conference, "Step Into The Future," in partnership with UTECH North America, held in Kissimmee, Fla., September 24-26, 2007, at The Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.

Companies or individuals interested in entering the award program must submit an application no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 2, 2007. A panel of five judges representing a cross section of polyurethanes experience and knowledge, and representing industry and industry associations, will evaluate all submissions and choose finalists for each category.

Finalist entries will be on display at the Polyurethanes 2007 Technical Conference. The voting results will be announced on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, during the closing session of the conference. The Polyurethanes 2007 Technical Conference, in partnership with UTECH North America will feature technical sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations and exhibits.
