The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry has issued a call for entries for the 2007 Polyurethane “Innovation Award” nominations and also has changed this year’s award program’s three categories to Polyurethane Chemicals, Processing Equipment and Finished Product.

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), formerly the Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry and now part of the American Chemistry Council, has issued a call for entries for the 2007 Polyurethane “Innovation Award” nominations and also has changed this year’s award program’s three categories to Polyurethane Chemicals, Processing Equipment and Finished Product. Finalists will be selected and winners will be announced at the Polyurethanes 2007 Technical Conference, “Step Into the Future,” in partnership with the UTECH North America Exhibition to be held in Orlando, Fla., on September 24-26 at The Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.

Companies or individuals interested in entering the award program must submit an application no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 2, 2007. Finalist entries will be on display at the Polyurethanes 2007 Technical Conference, and attendees will have a chance to cast their votes. The results will be announced on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, during the closing session of the conference.
