The company, based in Hudson, Ohio, said it invested more than $200,000 in renovating the R&D facility. Peter Flood, chairman and CEO, called the expanded and remodeled R&D center "a milestone achievement" for the company. "One of the company's key strategic initiatives is a commitment to continue investing and focusing R&D efforts today and into the future," Flood said. "In addition to the substantial improvements to the R&D building, we've also increased our research and development staff by more than 50% in 2004."
