Flood Co. Announces Additional Move Aimed at Boosting Overseas Business
The announcement is the third recent major executive appointment for Flood's international division, and follows the naming of an international sales manager for Latin America and Asia and a new national sales manager for the company's Canadian operations.
Rosenberg, based in Spain, assumes responsibility for Owatrol International's sales, marketing and business-development programs in Europe, and also will direct technical and local product-training functions in the region. The company said he also will work closely with Flood licensees in France (Produits Durieu) and Norway (Olsen and Wang) on manufacturing, sales and distribution issues.
Rosenberg has held sales and marketing positions with Franklin Electric Co. Inc. and Nordson Corp., and was director of Marketing for Franklin's Italian subsidiary. George M. Fischer, vice president of Flood's International Division, said Rosenberg will lead the company's efforts to expand sales in Europe through third-party representatives and licensing agreements.
Owatrol International was launched in 1961 as a joint venture of the Flood Co. and Olsen & Wang, and is currently a wholly owned Flood subsidiary.
