UCB S.A., Brussels, announced the start of operations at the company's new Research and Development Centre for specialty chemicals at Drogenbos, Belgium. R&D programs at the 14-million-euro, 8,250-square-meter facility will focus on radiation-cure resins for coatings, ink and adhesives and polyester resins for powder coatings, the company said.
