WHITEHOUSE, OH - Employees at BASF's Whitehouse, OH, coatings site turned a fading 1985 Chevrolet Corvette into this colorful rolling ambassador of the Lucas County, Ohio, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program using a new BASF color dye system called "Carizzma." The color system allows auto painters to create a variety of brilliant custom colors, the company says.

The Corvette features a combination of black, yellow and red Carizzma colors. The Lucas County D.A.R.E. program is using the car for local school visits and parades and will cruise with the car to the D.A.R.E Association of Ohio Conference and the D.A.R.E. National Conference in Nashville, TN, to convey the program's anti-drug message.
