BASF Coatings to Develop UV-Cure Film Technology
FLORHAM PARK, NJ – BASF has announced that
Atlanta-based homeland security company, Carbon Motors, has chosen the Coatings
Division of BASF as its partner for the development of film chemicals and
processes to be used on the thermoplastic exterior skin panels of the Carbon E7
Law Enforcement Patrol Vehicle, currently being designed and engineered by
Carbon Motors.
Production of the Carbon Motors E7 Law Enforcement Patrol Vehicle is expected to begin in the 2012 timeframe.
