ORGASOL® ultrafine polyamide powders are polymers and copolymers of lauryllactame and/or caprolactame obtained by direct polymerization. Due to this unique process, these powders are available as micro-porous spherical beads with a very narrow particle size distribution. Grades differ in particle size (from 5 to 60 microns), specific surface area and melting point. These new products, based on diketopyrrolopyrrol (DPP), will be manufactured at a new production plant at the HPP1 plant at the Frankfurt/Höchst site scheduled to come on stream in the fourth quarter 2004. Hostaperm® Red D2G 70 LV 2647 is a high-quality red pigment that is suitable for use in automotive OEM finishes and refinishes. Hostaperm Red D3G 70 LV 2884 red pigment is intended for use mainly in industrial paints.
