Rohm and Haas Acquires Adhesives Business
PHILADELPHIA -- Rohm and Haas Co. has acquired the Megum rubber-to-metal bonding business of Chemetall Co. of Frankfurt, Germany, including Chemetall's subsidiaries in Italy and Brazil.
The Megum business is a producer of rubber-to-metal bonding agents used in vibration absorption modules, primarily for the automotive industry. Rohm and Haas said the business will be integrated into the transportation unit of the company's Adhesives and Sealants business.
