ST. PAUL, MN - H.B. Fuller Co. has named Stephen Large group manager, North American ASC and appointed Lars Carlson to head a newly created function of Manufacturing Integration.

Large, currently sales and operations manager for the North American Region of the company's Global Coatings business, succeeds John Ray, who will retire at the end of the year. Large joined H.B. Fuller in 1992 as a sales manager in the UK, and has also been district manager in the European Adhesives Group and general manager of the Global Coatings business in New Zealand. Carlson, currently senior vice president of Administration, will lead efforts to optimize the company's global adhesives-manufacturing operations. He joined the company in 1977 and has held a number of positions, including vice president and group manager of the Specialty Group and vice president and group manager of the Latin American business region.
