Troy Corp. has made available Troykyd FCD734, a hydrophobic silica dispersion that provides excellent bubble-breaking and air-release performance over a range of high-gloss latex paints. The material provides no reduction in gloss, is effective at low concentrations, is 100% active and does not lose performance upon aging.
