Degussa-Hüls AG, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, said it is in the process of significantly expanding production capacity for its Acematt matting agents in a three-stage program at sites in Europe, the United States and Asia. The company also announced plans to build a production plant for its Aerosil pyrogenic silica at a Bayer AG site in Leverkusen, Germany.
