CHICAGO - A presentation given by Dow Corning’s Fluorine Technology Program Sales Development Manager, Steven R. Block, at the 10th Annual International Coatings for Plastics Symposium was awarded The Best Paper of the Symposium.

Titled, New Chemistry Improves Surface Performance, the presentation was based on work by Dow Corning and Daikin Industries Ltd. It focused on high-value fluorosilicone hybrid coatings with notable advantages over current coating technologies. The new technology will be shown to provide high hardness, high flexibility, adhesion to low-surface-energy surfaces, chemical resistance, fast cure at low temperatures and high gloss properties of the coatings.

The paper appears in this issue of PCI.
