MENTOR, OH - Cytec is offering a hands-on seminar covering new ultraviolet-curable pressure-sensitive adhesives for industrial applications. Participants in the seminar will hear from industry professionals, witness live production and spend time in the lab with the inventors of the GELVA® multipolymer radiation (GMR) PSAs.
 
Presentations will include: The Status of the PSA Market, taught by Steve Stone, Vice President, Cytec Performance Chemicals; Cost of Use and Economics for UV PSA, taught by Joe Kidd, Marketing Manager, Cytec Pressure Sensitive Adhesives; UV PSA: The Future of PSAs for Industrial Applications, taught by Tim Jensen, Senior Technical Manager, 3M (retired); Unmet Needs of PSAs for Industrial Applications, taught by Jerry Serra, VP, Research and Development, Tyco and Berry Plastics (retired); and Environmental, Health and Safety Overview, taught by Amy Essenfeld, Environmental, Health and Safety Director, Cytec Industries.
 
A technical workshop, UV Adhesive Technology - What Makes it Different and How is it Better Than Traditional PSAs, will be taught by Ming Zhao, Research and Development Lead Chemist, Cytec Pressure Sensitive Adhesives.
