CINCINNATI - Pilot Chemical Co., a manufacturer of surfactants, has appointed David Ligon to its Board of Directors. Ligon is currently the Founder and Managing Partner of Brightwell Capital Partners LLC, an asset management and advisory firm serving privately held U.S.-based businesses based in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to founding Brightwell in 2008, he worked for Emporia Capital Management, Union Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, First Interstate Bank and Bank of America.
 
Ligon has over 24 years of experience with privately held middle-market businesses in diverse industries throughout the United States. His experience includes acquisitions, consolidations, marketing, origination, underwriting, restructuring, problem loan resolution, portfolio management, loan syndications, asset-based lending, leasing, cash-flow lending, treasury management, equity and debt placements, and international trade.
 
Ligon also serves on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations - All God’s Children International, an international adoption and orphan-care organization based in Portland, OR; and the Neighborhood Urban Family Center, which provides children in urban Pasadena, CA, with after-school education, support and development.
