Lena Högfeldt has been appointed Group Vice President, Tikkurila Marketing and Brand Management. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, she will report to Erkki Järvinen, President and CEO of Tikkurila Oy. Previously, Högfeldt worked as Marketing Manager in Alcro-Beckers AB, which is responsible for Tikkurila’s decorative paint business in Scandinavia. Before joining the Tikkurila Group she worked for Unilever, Cederroths and Coop.
 
Niklas Frisk, Managing Director of Alcro-Beckers AB, will act as Marketing Manager, Scandinavia until a successor is found.
 
Sergey Massalitin has been appointed Managing Director of TOO Tikkurila, located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He is responsible for developing Tikkurila's operations in Central Asia. Previously, Massalitin worked as Deputy Managing Director of the company.
 
Kenneth Sundberg has been appointed Tikkurila’s Group Vice President, Research and Development as of Jan. 1, 2010. Based in Vantaa, Finland, he will report to Erkki Järvinen, President and CEO, Tikkurila Oy. Sundberg had previously worked as Head of Innovation Center Paper at Ciba Group.
 
Ilkka Sarvimäki, Tikkurila’s former Group Vice President, R&D and Technology retired in September 2009.
