OSCEOLA, AK - Evonik Cyro LLC has donated $3,300 to the Junior Auxiliary of Osceola, a nonprofit organization that serves the needs of the area’s children through service and educational projects.

“We are extremely pleased by the generous donation from Evonik Cyro,” said Jennifer Ephlin, President of the Junior Auxiliary of Osceola. “Evonik’s contribution will be used for our Angel Tree program that we sponsor to help the needy families of South Mississippi County give children a special Christmas. We purchase items that the children may want or need for Christmas, such as clothes, shoes, books, bicycles and toys. We want the children who otherwise might not have a present under the tree to have a happy holiday season.”

John Rolando, President of Evonik Performance Polymers North America, noted that corporate citizenship is the cornerstone of Evonik Cyro’s operations, which is why Performance Polymers’ management supported the Osceola plant’s recommendation to donate to the Junior Auxiliary. “Our community involvement through financial support of nonprofit organizations and community activities helps create a thriving community. We have always been impressed by the work of the Junior Auxiliary of Osceola and are happy we can assist this noteworthy organization and bring a happier holiday to area children.”
