PHILADELPHIA - Two one-day short courses on particle and surface technology are being offered prior to the American Chemical Society’s (ACS) national meeting in Philadelphia. “ Nanoparticle Synthesis and Characterization” will be offered August 17, 2012, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and “Surface Modification Chemistries for Particles and Interfaces” will be offered August 18, 2012, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The courses will take place at the Residence Inn Philadelphia City Center – Marriott, Philadelphia (across from City Hall).
