China TiO2 Producer Opens U.S. Branch
SHANGHAI – Xiao Yu Tong, Chairman of Shanghai FOPOL Chem-Tech Industry Co. Ltd., has announced the recent opening of a sales, marketing, distribution and M&A office in the United States. The new branch office, under the name Fourpole America Corp. (FAC), was established to expand the group companies’ international chemical production and distribution capabilities to the NAFTA market. Beginning in 2003 with the capitalization of Shanghai Fopol, the group has grown from five employees to well over 100. Through investment in its titanium dioxide (TiO2) finishing facility, development of Shanghai OK Pigment, and stock ownership of several brand-name chemical producers, the company continues to grow.
Fourpole America will supply TiO2 and other high-quality pigments, fine chemicals and zinc chemicals to the U.S. market. The office is located in Southbury, CT.
Jeff Krizan, formerly of Whittaker, Clark and Daniels, Kemira and ITOCHU, was appointed as Fourpole America General Manager. He has 30 years of TiO2 manufacturing, marketing, sales, research and development, technical service, and international supply chain management experience.
